What this module is for

Casino / Collections manages curated groups of casino games used for player-facing lobby sections, promotion groups, and collection pages.

A collection has translated names and descriptions, an optional image, active state, ordering, assigned games, and optional preview-game controls.

Included units

• List: searchable collection grid with maintenance actions and game counts
• Form: create and edit workflow
• Reorder: drag-and-drop ordering for the whole collection list
• Add Games: relation flow for attaching, removing, ordering, or bulk-loading games in a collection

Main workflow

1. Create a collection and fill the active-language names and descriptions.
2. Choose an image and active state.
3. Add games through Add Games.
4. Order the games and, when needed, select manual Preview Games.
5. Reorder the collection among other collections.
6. Add Games - Collections to the required CMS page and select the collection.
7. Publish and test the player page for the intended country, currency, and language.

Player-facing delivery

Creating a collection does not automatically place it on a page. In CMS, use:

Games - Collections

and choose one or more collection records.

The player-facing section shows collection cards. Opening a card leads to the collection page and its game list. Games - Collections Carousel is a different CMS section type and should not be treated as the same block.

A collection can still be absent or incomplete when:

• it is inactive
• it has no valid assigned games
• the CMS page does not reference it
• translations are missing
• assigned games are inactive or blocked for the player's market, currency, or other eligibility rules

Preview games

Edit mode allows up to eight manual preview games. Manual choices lead in their saved preview order. Free slots are topped up with eligible games, using country popularity when a viewer country is available and collection order otherwise.

Show only games with portrait icons in Preview applies to automatic fill candidates. Manual preview choices still need a renderable image but are not required to have a portrait image.

Translation maintenance

The list contains an expandable Untranslated Collections panel. It shows missing translations by language, opens the affected collection list, and can request a forced DeepL translation run for the selected language. Review generated copy after translation.

Permissions

The module uses CasinoManagement:

• R view
• C create and add games
• U edit, reorder, preview maintenance, image reset
• T activate or deactivate
• D delete

Limit write access to casino managers, content managers, or senior operations users.

Where operators get confused

• Collections are not nested under a parent category, so reorder and the list cover the entire collection set rather than one branch.
• Reset Images clears the image on every collection when run from the list header, not just one row.
• Add Games manages game membership and order only; it does not edit the collection name, description, image, or status.
• The list's Games value is a computed count of valid assignment rows, not a manually stored number.
• The dedicated collection reorder screen only loads the first 100 rows in the current implementation.
• Reset Images is global and clears every collection image.
