Casino / Games / Reorder

Drag-and-drop and list-maintenance workspace for curated game order management.

How to use this guide

Start with the main guide

Follow the explanation and examples first. Extra definitions and formulas are available below when you need them.

What this page does

This page is the dedicated ordering workspace for casino games. Operators use it when the game catalog is already populated but the display sequence needs to be curated for a specific country, category, provider, or top-category slice.

The page does not edit game names, images, provider assignments, wagering settings, or normal catalog metadata. It only manages the order list for the selected slice.

When to use it

Use this page when a lobby or category needs a manual sequence:

  • A country-specific lobby should show selected games first.
  • A category should have a curated order independent of the default catalog order.
  • A provider order needs to be adjusted for a country.
  • A top category needs an ALL ordering rule across its subcategories.

Do not use this page for activating/deactivating games, changing provider metadata, changing category membership, or updating game assets. Those belong to the main Casino / Games list and edit flows.

Choosing the order slice

The page has two working tabs:

  • Category: use this for category and country/category ordering.
  • Provider: use this for country/provider ordering.

The filters define the exact slice that will be loaded and saved. The rendered table is intentionally hidden until a country or category context exists, so a provider-only selection without country/category context is not enough for operators to review rows in the current UI.

The Category tab also includes top-category ALL options. When a top-category ALL option is selected, the country selector is disabled because that mode manages the top-category custom order rather than a country-specific order.

Reading the table

The table shows the current working list for the selected slice:

  • ID: master casino game id.
  • Name: game name with provider and min-bet context when available.
  • Provider: provider information shown for the game.
  • Status: Active or Inactive based on the game active flag.
  • Order ID: the current stored order marker for this slice.
  • Action: row-level removal from the current working list.

Dragging rows only changes the local working list. Nothing is persisted until Save is clicked.

Main actions

Save persists the current visible order for the selected slice. It submits the visible game ids in their current sequence together with the selected country, category, and provider context.

Remove from the list only removes the row from the local working list. The removal becomes meaningful only if the operator clicks Save after removing the row.

Upload Order opens a modal where the operator can paste game names, one per line. The first submit is a pre-check: the system checks which names match games in the selected context and shows missing names when any do not match. The operator can then continue the upload; only matching names are applied.

Reset Order opens a confirmation modal. Confirming reset clears the current local list and submits an empty order for the selected slice. Treat this as a persistent reset action, not as a harmless visual refresh.

Known caveats

  • The page works on a selected ordering slice, not on the whole game catalog at once.
  • Saving after local row removal can remove or demote rows from the stored order set, depending on the selected slice.
  • Reset submits an empty order for the selected slice after clearing the local working list.
  • Upload Order matches by exact game name within the selected context. Continuing despite missing names applies only the matching names.
  • Top-category ALL ordering uses the top-category custom order model and disables country selection.

Calculations7 topicsOpen details

Selected ordering slice

Defines which order list is loaded and edited.

Formula
Country plus category loads the country/category order list; country plus provider loads the country/provider order list; country alone loads the country order list; category without country loads the category order list; top-category ALL loads the top-category custom order list.
Caveats
If neither country nor category is selected, the list path returns no ordered rows and the rendered table stays hidden.

Local drag order

Explains why dragging does not immediately change stored order.

Formula
Drag-and-drop reorders the browser's working list only. The persisted order is changed only when the operator clicks Save or confirms a reset/upload flow that sends a save or merge request.

Save route selection

Explains how Save chooses the persistence model.

Formula
If no country is selected and a category is selected, Save applies the category-order path. Otherwise Save applies the country-aware reorder path, optionally including category or provider context.
Caveats
Country/provider paths can remove stored rows that are not included in the submitted visible order., Category paths reset non-submitted rows to a low-priority order marker before applying the submitted sequence.

Reset order submission

Confirms that Reset is a persistent action.

Formula
Confirming Reset clears the local working list and immediately submits an empty order array for the selected context. The save flow then applies the same semantics as an empty submitted order.
Caveats
Operators should treat Reset as a stored order reset, not as a visual refresh.

Upload Order pre-check and merge

Explains how pasted game names become an order update.

Formula
The first upload submit runs in pre-check mode and matches pasted names against games in the selected context. Continuing the upload sends the same names with pre-check disabled, then matching games are inserted or moved into the selected order set.
Caveats
Name matching is exact and context-sensitive., Continuing despite missing names applies only matched games.

Top-category ALL order basis

Explains why top-category ALL behaves differently from normal country/category ordering.

Formula
A negative category option represents a top-category ALL selection. In that mode the country selector is disabled and the order is based on the top-category custom order marker across active subcategories.

Remove before Save

Explains when a removed visible row affects stored order.

Formula
The row remove action filters the row out of the local working list. The save flow sees that removal only after Save submits the remaining game ids for the selected context.
Caveats
Saving after removal can delete that row from a country/provider order set or demote it from category ordering, depending on selected context.
