What this form does

This form creates the initial banner record. It does not publish content, choose banner type, or configure audience/country restrictions. Those steps happen later in the detail editor.

Required inputs

  • Banner Name is the human-readable label for operators.
  • Banner Key is the stable identifier used in routes and page-section references. It must use the key format accepted by the form: lowercase letters, numbers, dots, underscores, and hyphens.

When auto-generation is left on, the form derives the key from the banner name by lowercasing it and replacing unsupported characters with underscores. Operators can still edit the key before submit.

Common confusion

Creating a banner only registers the shell banner and an empty draft content record. Operators still need to open the editor, fill content, and publish before casino-facing consumers can rely on the published snapshot.

New banners start disabled. Turn the banner on from the detail editor only after content and targeting are ready.

The create modal does not expose Banner Type; new banners start with the default banner type and the type can be changed later in the detail editor.
