CMS / Configuration / Import History

Import-modal history and recovery guide for CSV import records, imported variables, restore, revert, delete, clear, country restore scope, and pre-import version checks.

How to use this guide

Start with the main guide

Follow the explanation and examples first. Extra definitions and formulas are available below when you need them.

What this section is for

Import History appears inside the Import Configuration CSV modal. Operators use it to check recent imports, inspect which variables were imported, restore values from a saved import record, revert an import back to the previous version, remove history entries, or clear all history.

Import flow

The modal accepts a CSV file and optional country assignment. If the CSV row has its own country column, that row-level country scope takes priority over the modal assignment. Imported values are saved as published configuration content and can create new version keys when the same base variable and country scope already exists.

History actions

  • Show variables / Hide variables expands or collapses the imported keys saved on a history record.
  • Restore re-applies values from a saved import record. Operators can leave restore countries empty to use the imported scope, or choose country scopes in the restore dialog.
  • Revert moves affected variables back to the previous version where possible, or removes imported-only rows when there is no previous version.
  • Delete removes one history record without changing current configuration values.
  • Clear removes all stored history records.

Version Restore Before Import

This area lets operators inspect existing versions before running another import. Selecting countries narrows the variable scopes shown. Selecting Variable Scope reveals available versions and lets operators enable or disable a version before importing.

Known caveats

  • Legacy history records can lack a variable snapshot. Those records cannot be restored because there are no saved imported keys to replay.
  • Deleting or clearing history only removes history records and stored restore snapshots. It does not delete current configuration rows.
  • Restore and revert can affect multiple variable rows for the selected import scope.
  • The import dialog is a maintenance surface; operators should verify country scope before restore, revert, or bulk import.
