NX / Categories / Game Mapping

Relation page for linking one NX category to games.

How to use this guide

Start with the main guide

Follow the explanation and examples first. Extra definitions and formulas are available below when you need them.

What this page does

This page manages direct game assignments for one selected NX category. It uses the NX Games grid for candidate rows and lets operators stage game additions/removals before saving them.

Use it when the operator needs to directly add games to a category or remove games from that category without rebuilding assignments from mapped source categories.

Filters

  • Search: filters games after Enter is pressed.
  • Providers: filters by one or more providers.
  • Categories: filters candidate games by category. On the Selected tab, the current category is always used instead of this optional filter.
  • Countries: filters using countries from the NX restricted-country catalog.
  • Currencies: filters by supported currency.
  • Features: filters by game capabilities such as Branded, Has demo, Bonus buy, Megaways, Freeround, Freespins, or Is virtual.
  • Status: offers Active and Disabled. Archived is configured but hidden from the selector.

Tabs and actions

  • All: full candidate game list
  • Selected: games already mapped to the current category
  • Unselected: games available to be added
  • Changes: rows staged for the current save cycle
  • Row selection stages local include/exclude changes only.
  • Save: persists staged add/remove game-mapping changes.

Save behavior

Save applies staged removals and additions. A successful save refreshes mapping data, clears staged rows, and shows success feedback. If one operation fails after another has already succeeded, the operator should refresh and recheck the relation data.

Known caveat

  • Selection is enabled only when the current category scope is casino. Categories with any other scope can still be reviewed here, but they are not operator-editable from this page, although Save remains visible.
  • Pressing Save with no staged rows changes nothing but still refreshes the mapping and shows the success message.
  • Leaving or refreshing the page before Save discards staged game-mapping changes.
