What this surface does

This is the configuration catalog for tournament templates.

Operators use it to maintain the reusable tournament definition that later produces active or past tournament instances.

How to use it

  • Use Name to find one configuration by the English tournament name.
  • Use Is Active to separate templates that can still generate instances from templates that are disabled.
  • Use Create Tournaments to open the configuration editor in create mode.
  • Open the Name link to edit one configuration in detail.
  • Use Duplicate when you need a new configuration prefilled from an existing tournament.

Common caveats

  • Visible controls whether the tournament should be exposed on the player-facing side. It is not the same as the configuration being active.
  • Starts In is a derived helper, not a raw database column. It uses the repeat rule and current time.
  • Repeat is shown in operator-friendly wording. The stored value stays as an enum like everyWeek or nonStop.
  • Duplicate stores the selected row in browser session storage and opens the create page. Nothing is written until the operator saves the new configuration.
  • This grid shows configuration rows only. Generated live or completed instances are shown under Ongoing Tournaments and Past Tournaments.
